WWE released information on Monday about travel packages for Wrestlemania 35. In the travel package details, there were a couple of big changes that popped out. These changes were to NXT Takeover and Wrestlemania AXXESS.
In regards to NXT Takeover, WWE has officially changed the name. The event will be called ‘NXT Takeover: New York’. This is instead of ‘NXT Takeover: Brooklyn’, which has been the name for the past 4 years at the Barclays Center.
As for Wrestlemania AXXESS, WWE has changed up the schedule. AXXESS has traditionally run from Thursday until Sunday morning on Wrestlemania weekend. The travel package has the event now running from Friday, April 5th, 2019 to Monday, April 8th, 2019. That means there will be AXXESS sessions on Monday after Wrestlemania, which has never been done before.
Travel packages go on sale next Monday.
