Charlotte Flair Made History This Past Week On Smackdown Live

On Smackdown Live this week, Charlotte Flair faced off against Naomi for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. The match was solid, but was interrupted after both Naomi and Charlotte were attacked by Natalya, Carmella and Tamina.

Regardless of the end result, Charlotte made WWE history in her match against Naomi.

Charlotte became the first WWE female to main event RAW, Smackdown Live and Pay-Per-View in a singles match.

From WWE.com:

“Following multiple Raw main events and a Raw Women’s Championship victory against Sasha Banks at this past year’s WWE Hell in a Cell event — inside the Cell itself, no less — Charlotte Flair made history once again last night on SmackDown LIVE by becoming the first female Superstar to compete in singles matches in the main event of Raw, SmackDown and a WWE pay-per-view”

Congratulations to Charlotte! A pretty big accomplishment. Don’t be surprised if she continues to break more records as her career progresses.

  1. Too bad Charlotte never main event of NXT Takeover, while Bayley and Sasha do at NXT Takeover Respect, so if Sasha moves to Smackdown someday, she has a chance to be the first female Superstar to compete in singles matches in the main event of Raw, SmackDown, a WWE pay-per-view and NXT Takeover.
