RAW announced that they would be the host of an exclusive Cruiserweight Division on Monday Nights. This was likely stemming from the recent success of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic on the WWE Network. It is likely that we see the return of the Cruiserweight Championship that this division fight for. We recently posted about the current RAW roster who is eligible for the division (read here). It is obvious that the WWE is going to add more talent. No place better to look then from the current pool of Cruiserweight Classic participants who have been impressing fans!

According to a report from ProWrestlingSheet.com, a number of WWE Cruiserweight Classic Participants have been offered contracts in the WWE. The names their report mentions are: Zack Sabre JR, TJ Perkins,Cedric Alexander, Noam Dar and Akira Tozawa. Their report states that Sabre JR won’t sign right away but will take them up on their offer in the future. You can check out their full report here.
There is also a report (from PWTorch) out that says Cruiserweight Classic participants: Gran Metalik and Kota Ibushi have already signed with the WWE. I am also pretty certain I have heard rumors about Tajiri returning to the company after the tournament (and possibly Brian Kendrick). It looks like the RAW Cruiserweight division is going to be loaded with talent pretty soon!

Disappointed that Sabre JR won’t be signing right away. Him and Ibushi are the two best wrestlers in the tournament (in my personal opinion) and it would have been great to have both of them! Regardless the WWE and NXT are getting some amazing talent. Will be interesting to see how many names actually end up signing since a lot of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic participants have shined!
