Daniel Bryan Clears Up Rumors About When His WWE Contract Expires

A big topic prior to Daniel Bryan being cleared by WWE to return to the ring was his contract. There were some rumors floating around that his contract with WWE expired on September 23rd, 2018.

This bummed out some fans who wanted Bryan to maybe appear at the “All-In” event that is happening on September 1st.

Daniel Bryan was recently interviewed by Al Arabiya English where he cleared up the rumors about his contract. It turns out that it actually expires on September 1st.

Here is what he said:

“No, no. I had somebody say that to me on my Twitter. They said, does your contract expire on September 23rd? And I was like, how do people even know that. But no, my contract actually runs out September 1st, which is actually the day of the All In show, but it’s funny because that doesn’t compute. I was in the Bahrain Comic Con the last two days, and we did Q&As, and at each one, somebody asked me about that. They said, ‘are you going to be at All In’? I’m not. I don’t know what to tell you. But yeah, my contract is up September 1st”

Something tells me that Bryan is set to or has already signed a major extension with WWE that will lock him up for years to come. This comes of course after he has been cleared to return.
