How Much Money Dean Ambrose Reportedly Earned In 2016 & How Many Matches He Wrestled

We recently did an article on how much money AJ Styles reportedly earned in 2016. The article was well-received and fans have been asking about some of their other favorite WWE stars. This time, we will be focusing on the ‘Lunatic Fringe’ Dean Ambrose who is one of the biggest stars in the company.

The information comes for Forbes where they used public filings, booking and pay documents along with interviews with industry insiders. This helped them determine (approximately) how much Ambrose earned from the company in 2016.

According to Forbes, Dean earned $2.7 million in 2016.

Also, according to Forbes, Dean worked around 194 WWE events in 2016. This is 9% more than anybody else on the roster. This equals some performance bonuses and extra merchandise sales for Dean. We also saw Dean wrestle twice in one night on occasion, Cagematch.net documents 204 total matches from Ambrose in 2016.

Dean Ambrose is certainly WWE’s workhorse. In 2015, he wrestled 218 matches if we use the same numbers from Cagematch. Hard to deny his value to the company and the hard-work he puts in.
