An Idea for a Wrestlemania 33 Show Stealer

Shinsuke Nakamura should be on the main roster. That statement is hard to disagree with in my opinion. But, how should he debut? That is the real question. After showcasing his skills across the globe and catching the attention of many WWE fans who follow NXT, he deserves to debut in a memorable fashion.

The injury that Finn Balor received at Summerslam and the potential for AJ Styles to not be featured in the main event of Wrestlemania may seem like travesties to the WWE universe. However, instead of dwelling on the negativity, the WWE booking squad can take advantage of this situation and create a Wrestlemania match that almost certainly can steal the show.

There are people who praise the brand split and those who aren’t sold on it yet. Fortunately, there is an opportunity to bring more meaning to the battle of the brands which also includes HHH’s baby that is NXT. NXT had been putting on spectacular shows over the last two plus years that deserves recognition from the common fan. Wrestlemania is the ultimate platform that could catapult both NXT as a brand and Shinsuke Nakamura as a superstar to be reckoned with.

A “battle of the brands” at Wrestlemania will create intrigue to a match without a title on the line that is difficult to create. With only 28 days till the show of shows there is not much time to create hype for such a match. But, it can be done.

Imagine the general mangers of RAW, Smackdown Live, and NXT vying for brand supremacy. AJ Styles, Finn Balor, and Shinsuke Nakamura could fight for brand bragging rights at Wrestlemania. There is not a die-hard wrestling fan that wouldn’t would to see a triple threat match including these three competitors. Shinsuke Nakamura could go over which would elevate his name and also generate even more buzz about the NXT brand leading to more WWE subscriptions.

How would you book this match?
