Impact Wrestling Reportedly Upset With Former Star Signing With WWE (Spoilers)

You might have heard the rumbles about Rockstar Spud signing with WWE. A report broke this week that said Spud is set to debut in the Cruiserweight division within the next two weeks.

According to a new report, Impact Wrestling isn’t very happy with the situation and how it went down.

Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), revealed that some Impact officials are not happy with the signing.  According to Meltzer, Impact reportedly spent a significant amount of money to assist Spud as he tried to get his work visa figured out.

Impact reportedly spent around $20,000 in legal fees to try and straighten out issues with the U.K immigration offices. This was so Spud could return to work in the U.S.
