Jim Ross recently took to his blog (JRsBarBQ,com) to discuss the recent news that Goldberg and Brock Lesnar would be entering the 2017 Royal Rumble match in San Antonio, Texas. JR would love to see some more big names get added to the event.

Ross on Goldberg and Lesnar participating in the Rumble match:
“I like that both Lesnar and Goldberg are both in the Royal Rumble match as it should help move tickets locally for the Alamo Dome extravaganza”
On Shawn Michaels or the Undertaker making an appearance at the event:
“I’d love to see an official announcement that both HBK and Taker are going to be on hand in some role as to add to the marketable nostalgia for the event. The two legends do not need to wrestle but being creatively utilized in some manageable manner would help the event feel bigger and more desirable to attend”

I think many fans would agree that it would be incredible to see either the Undertaker or Shawn Michaels participate in the event. There is some speculation that we could see a match between the Undertaker and AJ Styles, depending on the health of the Deadman. He is coming off hip surgery and is still recovering. AJ Styles also teased a match against Shawn Michaels a few months ago, leaving fans wanting to see this dream match.
