Here are some WWE stars who could be the guy to retire John Cena.
5) Bray Wyatt
Who else remembers when John Cena beat Bray Wyatt (with The Wyatt Family) at Wrestlemania 30? WWE now has a chance to right the ship with that booking decision.
How about Bray and his character, ‘The Fiend’, retires Cena? Wyatt has gone after WWE legends for a while now and Cena would fit pretty well as one of his future victims. It would be an easy storyline to write as these guys have had many battles over the years.
It would be great for Wyatt if he is the one to retire Cena. Also, it would really put over ‘The Fiend’ character and would give him another high-profile name to his victim list.
I definitely wouldn’t rule out Bray as a guy who could retire Cena in the future.
4) Roman Reigns
Another person who would be a good choice to retire John Cena is Roman Reigns.
These two feuded a few years ago and it was really solid. The promos were fun and the match between them ended up being good. I would like to see them feud again before Cena hangs up the boots.
I would have Reigns win the WWE Universal Championship at some point. After that, Cena could challenge him to a Title vs Career match.
It would make sense for Reigns to be the guy to officially retire Cena. This would be a passing-of-the-torch moment, with Reigns being officially crowned as the next “top guy” in WWE. Reigns is already considered the guy but WWE could have him be the one to officially end the career of Cena.
