Kane had his leg attacked by the Bludgeon Brothers backstage at Extreme Rules. It was revealed after Extreme Rules that Kane suffered an actual injury and was spotted wearing a walking boot at a recent campaign event.

We have an injury update on Kane to pass your way.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Kane suffered an injury to his Achilles tendon. This happened on the go-home show prior to Extreme Rules.
That is the reason why he’s been seen in a walking boot and also why Team Hell No was attacked backstage at Extreme Rules.
Johnson says that Kane is not expected back on WWE TV anytime soon. He is currently getting ready for the final run of his push to become the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.
