News broke on Wednesday morning that a few female WWE stars were traveling to Saudi Arabia for Super Showdown. Those names were Renee Young, Natalya, and Alexa Bliss.
This caught the attention of many fans because Women’s matches have been banned from WWE’s previous PPV events in the country.

According to a report from Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Alexa and Natalya traveled to the show because there is hope that they will be allowed to wrestle at the event.
WWE has reportedly been going back-and-forth with the Saudi General Sports Authority in hopes of getting a Women’s match approved for the show.
Renee Young will be commentating the show as she did at WWE Crown Jewel last year.
