Luke Harper’s future has been a hot topic of conversation among WWE fans over the past few weeks. This comes after his release request was reportedly denied by WWE.
A recent report suggested that Harper is currently getting the runaround from Vince McMahon about his release request. He is also apparently being straight up ignored by Triple H.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has provided some new details on the issues between Harper and Vince.
According to Sapp, Vince has a long-term issue with Harper. Here is an excerpt from his report:
A source close to the situation spoke of the Harper vs. EC3 match and said that Vince McMahon himself seemed to have a long-term issue with Luke Harper and that whatever happened wouldn’t have mattered anyway, going as far as to say that McMahon “decided to hate anything he was involved in long ago.”
My Take: As a Harper fan, this is frustrating as hell. If you have a long-term issue with the guy, why not release him? Have to feel bad for Harper as he can’t leave nor is he going to be featured on WWE television.
