Luke Harper announced a few weeks ago that he has asked for his release from WWE. According to a report, WWE not only denied this request but also added some more months to his contract due to the time that he missed because of injury.
We have the latest update for you on Harper’s status.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Harper is being given the runaround by Vince McMahon and is also being ignored by Triple H. Here is a quote:
“Harper has been given no future bookings, but also won’t be let out of his contract. He asked Vince McMahon if he wasn’t going to be used if he could get out in November as is the contract expiration date, before WWE extended it six months based on his being out with an injury. McMahon told him to take it up with Paul Levesque, who then didn’t respond to him”
My Take: Have to feel bad for Harper that he won’t be used nor will be able to leave. Definitely a bad spot to be in.
