On this week’s episode of ‘WWE Backstage’, Ryan Satin dropped the big news that Rob Gronkowski (aka GRONK) is close to finalizing a deal with WWE. Gronk has made a few appearances for WWE over the years, including in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 33.
There are a few key things to note about Satin’s report. The first is that Gronk’s role with the company is currently unclear. It hasn’t been confirmed yet if he will be used as a wrestler or just as an on-screen talent.
Satin also reports that Gronk’s next appearance with WWE will likely be on the March 20th episode of Smackdown in New Orleans.
