More On The Contract That Dean Ambrose Turned Down From WWE

The major news broke on Tuesday that Dean Ambrose wants out of WWE. The initial report from Wade Keller of PW Torch suggested that Dean was frustrated with his creative direction in WWE and will be leaving after Wrestlemania 35.

WWE confirmed that Dean is leaving in April in a statement that they released to the public.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsiderDean turned down a five-year contract offer from WWE. This offer would have paid Dean more than seven figures per year.

The initial report suggested that Dean turning down WWE’s offer wasn’t about the money and more about being fed up with his creative direction. Johnson added that he was told Dean doesn’t live an expensive lifestyle and has made great money for himself over his WWE career.
