Over the past few months, there have been a ton of rumors floating around about Brock Lesnar potentially returning to the UFC. Brock vs Daniel Cormier seemed like the fight that was going to happen but nothing has come to fruition.
During a UFC media scrum, UFC President Dana White was asked about Brock’s status.
Dana had this to say:
“One of the guys that I met with yesterday during PR told me that he had heard Brock Lesnar just signed a bunch of WWE deals.”
The key thing of interest is Dana saying that Brock “signed a bunch of WWE deals”. Based on previous reports on how Brock’s WWE contract works, ‘deals’ probably means that Brock has signed on for a bunch of extra appearances with WWE.
Dana also said that Cormier is currently hurt. He says that he will call Brock or someone else when they need to figure out Cormier’s next opponent. It sounds like Lesnar vs Cormier isn’t completely off the table for later in 2019. Maybe that means WWE fans are going to see more of Brock in the first part of 2019? We will have to wait and see.
