Daniel Bryan announced this week that 205 Live will be getting a General Manager. The person will be named on next weeks episode and they will be deciding what happens with the vacant Cruiserweight Title. This comes after Enzo Amore was released from the company on Tuesday.

Here are some more details on an original idea that was pitched for the GM role.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Dave Meltzer says that the idea for a 205 Live GM has been floating around for months, with WWE officials waiting for Vince McMahon to give the go-ahead.
Meltzer says that WWE officials actually spoke with Summer Rae about potentially being the 205 Live General Manager. This was of course prior to her release from WWE.
They decided against the idea because she is taller than most of the guys in the division.
