Monday Night RAW this week featured a surprise invasion from Smackdown Live. Shane McMahon and his Smackdown roster stormed RAW and took out the majority of the RAW locker room (minus some of the bigger names). The build to Survivor Series has officially began and the battle for brand supremacy will be the major theme this year.
After RAW this week, let’s speculate on what will happen next in this storyline and what it could lead to.
The most likely thing that will happen next is Kurt Angle and the RAW locker room invading Smackdown Live to return the favor. Either it will happen this week or in the next few.
The most interesting possibility seems to be a potential match between Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle at Survivor Series. This certainly seemed like it might have been teased with Shane telling Kurt to bring his gold medals.
Shane and Kurt have a long history with one another and have put on some memorable matches in the past. They have a built-in rivalry already. Kurt has also recently been cleared by WWE and maybe they decide to use him again for Survivor Series.
We predict that this will lead to both Angle and Shane involved in the match at Survivor Series.
Either: Angle and Shane both captain their Survivor Series teams or Kurt vs Shane in a singles match.
