Ric Flair announced on Friday that he has pulled out of all of his appearances this upcoming weekend. Flair says that it is due to a “sudden illness”.

Here is the statement that Flair posted on social media:
“Due to a sudden illness, I am sorry to say that I must cancel my appearances this weekend. I want to personally apologize to all the fans who were expecting to see me in NYC, Dallas and Arkansas and the people who worked very hard to put these events on. As someone who has never missed a day of work in his entire career, it is with a heavy heart that I had to make this decision. Again, thank you to all my fans for your continued support and I will be stylin’ and profilin’ again in no time.”
According to a report from Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Flair is battling the flu and it doesn’t appear to be anything serious at the moment.
