As noted prior, Rich Swann was arrested on early Sunday morning in Florida. Swann was charged with false imprisonment/kidnapping and a misdemeanor charge of battery after an incident took place with his wife (she is best known to wrestling fans as Su Yung). You can read the full police report here.

Thanks to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, we have an update on Swann. Here are some of the details.
According to the report, Swann has been released from jail on his own recognizance. As a stipulation for the release, he had to sign a statement saying that he will have “no direct or indirect hostile contact” with his wife. The stipulation means that he can still be in contact or live with his wife but he can’t argue, belittle, threaten or anything else that would be considered a violation.
Johnson reports that a judge has been assigned to the case but there is not an official court hearing set.

According to the arrest report, Yung told Authorities that she was afraid of Swann “because he has a temper sometimes” and also that she was scared it could escalate into a physical confrontation.
Swann was suspended indefinitely by WWE and the company released a statement. If you are wondering why he hasn’t been fired, according to WWE’s domestic abuse policy, he is suspended until the court case. If he is found guilty, he will be immediately terminated from the company.
Swann’s match against Drew Gulak on RAW this week has also been canceled.
