Roman Reigns was recently a guest on a conference call where he spoke on a variety of topics. ‘Inside The Ropes’ was a part of this call and shared a quote from Reigns that is causing a bit of a stir in the wrestling world.
Reigns was speaking about Braun Strowman and his character being original. It resulted in Roman mentioning that WWE doesn’t need wrestler’s doing ‘Too Sweets’ and doing things like impersonating D-Generation X.
The Young Bucks were never directly named but it is easy to put the pieces together. Here was the quote from Reigns:
“No offence to any of these guys but we don’t need guys running around doing Too Sweets and we don’t need guys acting like they are DX from, you know, 15 years ago. We need original characters.”

This comes after the Young Bucks were given a legitimate cease and desist from WWE
