Rumor On Seth Rollins’ Next Challenger For The Universal Championships

Seth Rollins defeated Brock Lesnar at Summerslam to win the Universal Championship. On RAW this week, Paul Heyman confirmed that Brock Lesnar will NOT be getting a rematch.

That means Seth Rollins needs a new challenger for the Universal Championship.

We have a rumor to pass your way.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), Seth will be facing Braun Strowman at Clash of Champions. Here is what he wrote (h/t to Ringside News for the quote below):

“It is Braun Strowman in the Charlotte main event, unless Vince changes his mind, but I don’t think he’s going to. I think that one is pretty much — which is weird because they do everything to make Seth into a babyface and they bring in Braun who’s going to be a super babyface the way that they brought him in and just because he’s been kinda forgotten about for a few weeks just because they didn’t have anything on Summerslam for him.”

How would you feel about Braun vs Seth? Let me know in the comment section below.
