Rumor On Vince McMahon’s Reaction To The Crowd After Hell In A Cell

The Hell in a Cell PPV ended on a sour note. The Hell in a Cell match between Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt ended in a non-finish. The crowd booed and even chanted “refund” to close the show.

We have some rumors to pass your way about Vince McMahon’s reaction to the crowd after Hell in a Cell. This comes via Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select (subscribe here).

According to Sapp, the finish was a call that was completely made by Vince McMahon. The match apparently played out exactly how he wanted it too.

Sapp says that according to one person backstage, Vince initially laughed off the crowd reaction that the fans gave the finish.

Another source told Sapp that Vince later knew that he messed up. They also said that “he took it seriously” and he’s “not oblivious” in terms of how the crowd reacted to the end of the show.

As noted prior, WWE is saying the match ended via a referee stoppage, rather than calling it a disqualification.
