3) The Start Time Of Summerslam
According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, there is a rumor that Summerslam could move to starting time of 7:00 PM (EST). The show is currently scheduled to start at 8:00 PM but this is something to keep an eye on.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
There had been some rumors about SummerSlam being moved up to 7 p.m. so they could get another hour into the show with the 11 p.m. hard out because of the Pacquiao fight. WWE officials have said that the main card is still scheduled for an 8 p.m. Eastern start.
My Take:
- I am fine with the show starting at 7. Works for me as I don’t think it affects anything to do with the show.
2) WWE Star Switching Brands
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, WWE is moving Naomi over to the Smackdown brand.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
WWE star Naomi has quietly been shifted to the Smackdown brand, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
Naomi, who competed last night in the Money in the Bank Ladder match, has been with the Raw brand since October 2020.
She is a former Smackdown Women’s Champion and first signed with WWE in 2009.
My Take:
- Naomi to Smackdown sounds good to me. Hopefully she excels.
