1) Backstage Note On John Cena’s Return To WWE
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), John Cena is considered to be a free agent in WWE.
This means that Cena will be able to appear on several upcoming shows, without there being any brand limitations in place.
There was some confusion about Cena after he was announced for RAW despite starting a feud with Roman Reigns. This explains why.
My Take:
- This does make sense so WWE can use him to boost ratings and live event attendance.
