1) Backstage Note On Sasha Banks
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), Sasha Banks was backstage at this week’s episode of Smackdown. They didn’t use her on the show because there were no creative plans for her.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
We have not been told of any creative plans at the moment for Banks.
It is worth noting that Mike Johnson of PWinsider reported last week that Sasha is expected to return on the September 10th episode of Smackdown:
PWInsider.com has been told that the hope, should all go well, is that Banks will return to the road for the company the weekend of 9/10, which would be the Super Smackdown taping in New York City at Madison Square Garden. Nothing is 100% until it happens, but that is the current expectation internally.
My Take:
- I am looking forward to seeing Sasha back. Becky vs Sasha is a match that I want to see at some point.
