Rumor Roundup: Big Moment Scrapped From Wrestlemania 36, WWE Star Has Creative Freedom, More

3) Travel Restrictions Could Be Lifted Soon

According to Dave Meltzer on F4WOnline, it appears as if the restrictions on foreign athletes traveling to the United States will be dropped soon.

As a result, this will allow wrestlers who live outside of the U.S to travel to WWE television tapings again. For example, Bobby Roode will be able to cross the border from Canada to the U.S, which he has been unable to do for the past few months:

It appears restrictions on foreign athletes coming to and leaving the U.S. will be dropped, unlike those of normal citizens, because it is necessary for the NHL, where so many of the athletes live outside the U.S., and to a lesser extent baseball and basketball. My presumption is that WWE will be considered with them as will UFC, and if so, so should AEW.

My Take:

  • This will also make things interesting for the WWE talent in the UK who haven’t been able to travel to the WWE Performance Center. Jordan Devlin and Pete Dunne are two names who come to mind right away.

2) Top WWE Star Makes Big Donation To Shad Gaspard’s Family?

There is a rumor floating around that John Cena made a big donation to the Go Fund Me page for Shad Gaspard’s family. The page included a $40,000 donation from someone who wrote “CTC RIP.”

In 2008, Cryme Tyme worked with Cena during his feud with JBL. During this, there was a segment where they vandalized JBL’s limo with Cena writing “CTC” aka “Cryme Tyme Cenation” on the limo.

Cena posted a photo from that segment on his Instagram this weekend, which led fans to believe that it was him who dropped the donation:

My Take:

  • John Cena is a good dude. It is probably him as not many people have $40,000 to drop in a donation.
