Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) John Cena’s Return
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, John Cena will be finished filming his Peacemaker series on July 6th. This puts Cena in line to return to WWE when they go back to live crowds starting on July 16th.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
We can confirm that production on Cena’s HBO Max series Peacemaker is slated to end on 7/6 in Vancouver, British Columbia, unless there is an unforeseen circumstance that leads to a delay in shooting.
My Take:
- WWE bringing back Cena for when live shows return would make a lot of sense. It will be good to see him (insert John Cena joke here).
4) Edge’s Current Status
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select, Edge is currently not dealing with any injuries.
It is believed that Edge’s disappearance from WWE television is just some planned time off for him.
My Take:
- This is good to hear. I am sure WWE will bring him back over the next month or two. With live crowds returning, he is someone that will receive a nice pop from the audience.
