5) Update On The Rumors About Lars Sullivan
Over the weekend, Lars Sullivan posted a video of him working out. This had many fans thinking that he could be close to returning from injury soon.
Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline has provided an update on Lars. Here is what he wrote:
Lars Sullivan posted a workout video on his Instagram. We’re told his return is not imminent and that he’s about midway or so through his recuperation from knee surgery.
My Take:
- If this is accurate, that means Sullivan could be out for several months still. His original timetable was 6 to 9 months.
4) Daniel Bryan’s Involvement In His Storyline With Bray Wyatt
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Daniel Bryan pushed to delay his match against Bray Wyatt for the Universal Championship.
Here is what Meltzer said (h/t to Ringside News for the quote):
“Originally it was gonna be Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan — Daniel Bryan himself was actually pushing to delay it. He thought this pay-per-view was too soon and he I guess is pretty hands-on with his story which if I was him I would be too because I wouldn’t want these people messing with my stories. So it’s gonna be The Miz.”
My Take:
- I am definitely okay with WWE slowplaying this storyline. Wyatt vs Bryan could be a great match for the Royal Rumble.
