1) NXT Superstars Receive New Names
WWE has recently changed the names of some NXT Superstars. This was first revealed by some trademark filings by WWE this week. Here are the Superstars who have had their name changed so far:
— Daniel Vidot will now be known as ‘Xyon Quinn’.
— Omari Palmer will now be known as ‘Odyssey Jones’.
— Sidney Bateman will now be known as ‘Akeem Young’.
— Brendan Vink will now be known as Tony Modra.
WWE also filed for Ivy Nile but it is unclear as of writing this who that name belongs to.
My Take:
- I am not sure how I feel about the name Xyon Quinn. While saying that, I have heard great things about Daniel Vidot, so I am going to give it a chance.
