Rumor Roundup: NXT’s Involvement In The 2020 Royal Rumble, The Latest On Kacy Catanzaro, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) Luke Harper’s Original Release Date

After Luke Harper was released by WWE, he now has to wait for 90-days until his non-compete clause expires. Harper will officially be a free agent on March 8th, 2020.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Harper’s original release date was set for March 25th, 2020.

That means WWE is essentially giving him 17 extra days of freedom by granting his release early.

My Take:

  • Two weeks is still better than nothing. I am excited to see where Harper goes next as I am a big fan of his.

4) The Latest On Kacy Catanzaro

Kacy Catanzaro’s status with WWE has been a question mark for a few months now. Nobody is sure if she is leaving WWE or staying.

Squared Circle Sirens reports that Kacy was recently spotted at the WWE Performance Center. She was reportedly meeting with the head trainer, Matt Bloom.

Details about her meeting with Bloom are currently unknown.

My Take:

  • I really hope WWE can keep Kacy. She is insanely talented and has a major future if she sticks it out. Still, she should do what she thinks is best for her. Her appearing at the Performance Center might be a good sign but we will have to wait and see.
