Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) What Daniel Bryan Is Pitching To WWE Management
According to a report from WrestlingNews.co, Daniel Bryan has been pushing for several underutilized stars on Smackdown to get more TV time. This includes names like Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Drew Gulak, and Shorty G.
Here is what the site wrote:
Bryan is said to be the person who pushed for the Gran Metalik vs. Lince Dorado vs. Shorty G vs. Drew Gulak number 1 contenders match that led to this week’s Metalik vs. AJ Styles match for the Intercontinental Championship.
Bryan is said to be a big fan of the work of all of the names mentioned above and, as previously noted here on WrestlingNews.co, Gulak’s storyline with Bryan that kicked off earlier this year was done at Bryan’s request and he has gained much more influence behind the scenes. This is also why Gulak was booked to wrestle Styles on SmackDown a few weeks ago.
My Take:
- This is great to hear. Bryan seems to have a great eye for talent and I hope that these guys get a chance to shine over these next few months.
4) How Vince McMahon Views Chad Gable
According to journalist Tom Colohue, Vince McMahon sees a lot of Kurt Angle in Chad Gable.
Here is what Colohue wrote:
“But in a non-kayfabe sense, it is to get Chad Gable into some feud and get him some TV time, and eventually get to that Chad Gable vs Matt Riddle match. Baron Corbin has apparently been pushing for more opportunities for people and this is one of the ways that Vince McMahon believes that they can push new stars. Chad Gable is someone that he wants to push purely because of his in-ring talent. Apparently he sees a lot of Kurt Angle in Chad Gable.”
My Take:
- I am a big fan of Gable and I hope that this heel turn really ends up helping him. He is someone who should definitely be used on a weekly basis.
