Rumor Roundup: The Forgotten Sons’ WWE Future, Update On Wrestlemania 37, More

3) Vince McMahon Did Not Like The Original Ending Of The Undertaker’s Documentary Series

The Undertaker was recently interviewed by Barstool Sports. During this, he revealed that Vince McMahon did not like the original ending of his documentary series, ‘The Last Ride’.

Vince made them put in the “Never Say Never” line at the very end, which keeps the door open for The Undertaker to return to the ring:

“I had to send the last 15 minutes of the final episode [The Revelation] to the Chairman [for approval]Needless to say, he did not like the ending. That’s why we had to put the “Never Say Never” line back in there, just to leave the door open.”

My Take:

  • I love ‘Taker but it is time for him to hang up the boots. He just can’t physically do it anymore and I hate to see him searching for that perfect ending. I think it is time for him to let go.

2) New NXT Trademark

WWE has recently filed for two trademarks for the phrase: “TAKE OFF TO TAKEOVER”. This was filed under “a show about professional wrestling” and also for use on merchandise.

It looks like we should expect to hear “Take Off To Takeover” for years to come.

My Take:

  • I guess this will be WWE’s new tagline for the weeks leading into NXT Takeover events? This is the only thing that I can think of right now.
