Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) WWE Turning Two NXT Superstars Heel
According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, WWE is planning to turn two NXT Superstars into heels. Those two Superstars are Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter.
Here is what Alvarez said (via WrestlingNews.co):
“I was told that last night, after Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter got their upset win in the Dusty Classic and Kacee did a full senton to win…I was told that was supposed to be the beginning of a heel turn for Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter.”
My Take:
- I am a big fan of Kacy and think that she has bright things ahead of her. If a heel turn is what is needed, I am all for it.
4) Update On The Undertaker’s Contract Status
The Undertaker was recently a guest on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. During this, ‘Taker confirmed that he is no longer under a WWE talent contract.
Here is what The Undertaker said (via Ringside News):
Before I switched my contract — now I’m not a talent, I’m a legend — I only worked two or three times a year, but I was under a regular contract. Under a regular contract, and this is if you tested clean, you had to have four mandatory piss tests and two blood tests every year.”
My Take:
- I am glad to see The Undertaker is sticking with his retirement. I love the guy but I think he retired at the right time.
