3) Jeff Hardy Wants To Bring Back Old Character In WWE
During a recent interview, Jeff Hardy noted that he wants to bring his old Willow persona to WWE television.
Jeff even teased a potential match between Willow and The Fiend. Here is what he said:
“Willow is my go-to wrestling persona. So, man, that’s another dream of mine that I would like to do before I’m done. To bring Willow into the WWE Universe and see what happens,” he said. “I just have a strange feeling that something crazy cool could happen between Willow and ‘The Fiend.’”
My Take:
- The Fiend vs Willow sounds like a fun match to me. I don’t know about anyone else but I would like to see it.
2) Backstage News On Brock Lesnar
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, people in WWE are not concerned about Brock Lesnar being a free agent.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
Brock Lesnar’s merchandise has disappeared from WWE Shop, as he is now a free agent. However, those close to Brock, as well as WWE don’t seem that concerned about it. According to a WWE source, they said that “This happens every year. This year, a little longer than usual. But nothing new.”
In regards to a potential UFC return, Lesnar still owed a hefty fine, would have to get back in the USADA pool and be tested a minimum of six months.
My Take:
- This does make sense as I don’t see Brock going anywhere but WWE. I am sure that he will sign a new deal in a few months and he will be put back on TV like nothing happened.
