Rumor Roundup: The Plans For Rhea Ripley, The Wrestlemania 37 Card, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) Royal Rumble Betting Favorites

Over the past week, the betting favorites have not changed for the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches.

According to Oddschecker, Daniel Bryan is still the favorite to win the men’s match (at 11/10 odds). Bianca Belair is also still the favorite to win the women’s match (at 7 to 4 odds).

In some other movement, Edge and Alexa Bliss have jumped into second place in their respective matches.

My Take:

  • I am excited to see what happens in the Rumble matches this year. It definitely feels wide open, despite Daniel and Bianca remaining as the betting favorites.

4) Wrestlemania 37 To Feature A Lot Of Past Stars

According to a report from Sportskeeda, the Wrestlemania 37 match card will feature several legends from the past.

Here is what the site wrote:

WWE is following a tried-and-tested pattern of getting back part-timers for big matches and special appearances. It was noted that this year’s WrestleMania would be a ‘parade of former stars’ who will ‘put their brand of acceptance’ on the new generation.

The source brought up names such as John Cena, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash, who could appear at WrestleMania in Tampa, Florida. It was added that Undertaker’s status is currently unclear.

My Take:

  • I am fine with legends being used for segments but we don’t need several of them wrestling and taking up space on the card.
