5) Johnny Gargano Returning Quicker Than Expected?
It was recently announced that Johnny Gargano was dealing with a neck injury. This injury forced him out of NXT Takeover: WarGames, where he was supposed to face off against Finn Balor.
During Triple H’s recent media call, he hinted that Gargano will only be out for a short period of time. Here is what Triple H said:
“Day by day right now, I’m hoping it’s soon, he’s hoping it’s soon. I can’t even tell you how many TakeOvers in a row that he did and he’s just gutted missing this one. I’m gutted for him.
“This would have been an epic match and a big moment with him and Balor, but it is what it is and he’s sort of day-to-day right now and kind of goes by how he feels.
“There’s nothing there that is like a structurally concerning or anything like that, but it’s a management of the symptoms and try to get him past all that so that really, that’s the update.
“It’s day-to-day but hopefully it won’t be too, too long.”
Due to how serious neck injuries can be, I think that we all hope it is a short-term thing.
4) The Current Betting Favorites To Main Event Wrestlemania 36
According to Sky Bet, the current favorite to be the main event of Wrestlemania 36 is Roman Reigns vs The Rock at 10 to 1 odds.
Three matches are tied in second place at 16 to 1 odds:
- Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey
- Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan
- Bray Wyatt vs Finn Balor
Brock Lesnar vs Cain Velasquez is in third place at 20 to 1 odds.
