3) The Plans For Summerslam
John Pollock of POST Wrestling recently asked WWE where Summerslam will be taking place. The event was originally scheduled for Boston but isn’t happening there anymore due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pollock says that WWE had hoped to do Summerslam in front of a small crowd but it looks like the event will be back at the WWE Performance Center:
When we inquired about the location of SummerSlam, it was said to be “TBD” with the likely scenario of it being at the Performance Center, but we have not been able to confirm that. There was a hope to have SummerSlam in front of a limited number of fans at a different venue but that may not be possible.
My Take:
- If they do Summerslam at the Performance Center, I would like to see them do a custom set design. It is the second biggest show of the year, so I would like to see them do something special for it if they can.

My Take:
- These all make sense. I actually thought that Asuka would be a bigger favorite though but it looks pretty close right now.
