Rumor Roundup: The Possible Plans For Randy Orton, Changed Finish At WM 37, More

3) Samoa Joe’s Future

Samoa Joe was recently taken off the announce team on Monday Night RAW. This has led to some fan speculation that he could be returning to the active roster soon.

Joe has been out of action for the past several months after suffering a concussion. He has noted in recent interviews that he is not retired. He is someone to watch out for over the next few weeks.

My Take:

  • I can’t wait to see Joe back in the ring. He is one of my favorites on the current roster and he is incredible to watch in the ring. I would love to see Joe on RAW, facing guys like Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Braun Strowman. I would also love him on Smackdown, facing guys like Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, Edge, and more.

2) WWE Changed The Finish Of Wrestlemania 37 Match

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the finish of the match between Randy Orton and The Fiend was changed a few hours before Wrestlemania 37.

Here is what Meltzer said:

“I told you about two of them that were changed the last day. They were finalized, not changed, but I know two of the major matches one wasn’t until Saturday and the other wasn’t until Sunday. One of the finishes, the Randy Orton finish was changed on Sunday hours before the show I think. I think there were at least three finishes were changed.”

My Take:

  • Orton winning at Wrestlemania was definitely random. I 100% buy that it was changed at the last minute.
