1) The Possible Plans For Randy Orton
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), the original plan for Randy Orton was for him to take some time off from WWE television after Wrestlemania 37. The original plan called for him to take a “good period of time” off TV after his feud with The Fiend.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
There was never a plan in order for a Firefly Funhouse, and beyond that, many of those associated with the angle were never given an endgame at any point prior to the weekend, outside of the fact that it would write Orton off of television for a good period of time as originally planned.
My Take:
- Orton took the pin during the main event of RAW, so I could see him now disappearing from TV. I think Orton taking off a few months would be good for him and then he can come back for some fresh feuds.
