3) How Many Employees Were Let Go By WWE This Week
WWE released a handful of employees this week. This included names like Gerald Brisco, Mike Rotunda, and Sarah Stock.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE released around 60 office employees in total:
One source believed there were over 60 staffers let go yesterday, many of whom were already furloughed or working in departments that aren’t very active currently due to COVID-19, such as live events.
My Take:
- Definitely sucks to see so many people losing their jobs. I wish all of them the best.
2) WWE’s Contingency Plan For Sick Employees
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), WWE has brought in “understudies” for their office employees.
This is so that they are covered if someone gets sick in the office. This is a part of their “contingency plan to keep things moving.”
My Take:
- This does seem like a smart move by WWE if they are able to use interns for these roles. We will have to wait and see when more information comes out.
