Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) WWE’s Plans For Samoa Joe
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is not planning on keeping Samoa Joe on the RAW commentary team long-term. They are just using him in that role until his injury heals, even though he is being heavily praised backstage.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
“When asked about if Joe would be permanent in the role because he has been so strong in it, the reaction was that they consider him too valuable as a talent right now and he’s only there until his hand injury heals.”
My Take: Keeping Joe on just commentary would be a mistake. He still has gas in the tank and I want to see more dream matches from him.
4) Rough Concussion For WWE Star
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select, EC3 was dealing with a “pretty rough” concussion over the past little while.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
“He’s been battling a concussion and from what I’m told he’s coming out of it a little bit now, but I heard this one was pretty rough.”
My Take: I hope that EC3 gets booked better when he returns. He has been booked terribly since being called up to the main roster. Let’s hope that changes because the guy is talented.
