3) Another Nixed Pitch For Shayna Baszler
It was recently reported that WWE had scrapped the plans for Shayna Baszler to win the RAW Women’s Championship from Becky Lynch. There were also plans at one point for her to win the Royal Rumble but this didn’t end up happening.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, there was also a pitch for Shayna to win the Money in the Bank Briefcase, which didn’t happen:
Fightful has learned there was a pitch for Baszler to also win Money in the Bank, which obviously didn’t end up happening.
My Take:
- What a weird year that it has been for Shayna. She had some big plans in place for her but they didn’t come to fruition. I am a fan of hers though and think that she can be a star. They need to give her a chance.
2) Early Royal Rumble Favorites
According to SkyBet, Sasha Banks is the current favorite to win the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble match. She is listed at 6 to 1 odds to win.
Roman Reigns is also the current favorite to win the 2021 Men’s Royal Rumble match. He is listed at 6 to 1 odds to win.
My Take:
- This is obviously really early but I like to check in every few months to see if anything has changed. Sasha and Roman have remained as the favorites for the past few months. It will be interesting to see if they stay on top when we check back again.
