5) Possible WWE Free Agent Signing
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is working on signing Speedball Mike Bailey.
Here is what Meltzer said:
The company is working on signing and getting visa issues taken care of for a deal with Speedball Mike Bailey
My Take:
- This would be a fun signing for NXT or NXT UK. We will keep our eyes on this over the next few weeks to see if it comes to fruition.
4) The Location Of Summerslam
According to a report from Sports Illustrated, WWE is planning for Summerslam to take place in the state of Nevada.
Here is what the site wrote:
There is a sense of optimism throughout WWE for its persistence to run weekly shows throughout the pandemic, especially with the creative outlet of the ThunderDome. Once WWE hits the road, there are no plans to return to the ThunderDome. Weekly travel will then commence for Raw and SmackDown, with the summer storylines built around SummerSlam in August. SI has confirmed SummerSlam will take place in Nevada.
