We have some rumors to pass along about Goldberg. The first has to do with Goldberg’s promo from Smackdown this past week.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Goldberg’s promo was unscripted. He is apparently one of the few WWE stars who have some creative freedom with their promos. Here is a quote:
“Bill Goldberg’s not being scripted by these writers. Goldberg’s in the Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar thing where they work everything out and obviously Bill is saying what Bill wants to say. He doesn’t have people telling him what to say,”
According to WrestlingNews.co, Vince McMahon loved Goldberg’s promo and the final segment that saw him go face-to-face with the Undertaker.
The site also says that the door is wide open for Goldberg to return to WWE for another match after Super Showdown. This is not meant to be Goldberg’s final match.
