If you have been watching Monday Night RAW over the past several weeks, it seems pretty obvious that WWE is building towards a future Sasha Banks vs Bayley match. Current speculation is that it could happen at Wrestlemania 34. Not guaranteed but WWE sure is teasing it.
If Sasha vs Bayley does happen at the event, it will make history.
This depends on Sasha and Bayley wrestling a 1-on-1, singles match at the event. If they do, it will be the first time in history that two Women have had a 1-on-1 match, which doesn’t involve a title, stipulation or gimmick. This was pointed out by the @Wrestlevotes account on Twitter. The only other was between Terri Runnels and the Cat but this was billed as a ‘Catfight’ at Wrestlemania 2000.

If @SashaBanksWWE & @itsBayleyWWE have a singles match, it will be the first time in Mania history 2 women compete in a standard (no stipulation), non title, 1 on 1 match.

Bayley vs Sasha isn’t set in stone for the event but this would pretty cool if it happens. It doesn’t seem like much but a Women’s 1-on-1 match without titles or gimmicks at Wrestlemania would be unheard of only a few years ago. Hopefully, it ends up happening.
