Event: ROH Take No Prisoners (2008) | Rating: 4.5 stars
If you are strictly a WWE fan, you probably aren’t too familiar with Nigel McGuinness outside of his commentary work. He put on a lot of great matches with WWE stars in his career. This included a match against Seth (as Tyler Black) back in 2008 at ROH’s Take No Prisoners event.
Tyler Black vs Bryan Danielson
Event: ROH New Horizons (2008) | Rating: 4.5 stars
Before Seth Rollins and Daniel Bryan became WWE megastars, they put on a really good match at Ring of Honor’s New Horizons event back in 2008. This is a fun little gem of a match that you should check out if you are a fan of both guys.
Tyler Black vs Austin Aries vs Roderick Strong
Event: ROH The Big Bang! (2010) | Rating: 4.5 stars
This was a three-way elimination match for the ROH World Heavyweight Championship. Aries pinned Strong to eliminate him first. Seth (as Tyler Black) would go on to win the match after pinning Aries.
A fun match from all three guys.
Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan, Kane and Ryback
Event: WWE TLC (2012) | Rating: 4.5 stars
TLC 2012 marked the in-ring debut of the Shield. They faced off against Daniel Bryan, Kane and Ryback. This was a really great showing from the Shield in their first match. It really showcased their strengths and potential as a team.
As we know now, the Shield never looked back after this match. The trio has found some major success in WWE as a trio and by themselves.
Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns vs Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan
Event: WWE RAW (March 3rd, 2014) | Rating: 4.5 stars
A rare WWE television match that has earned a high star rating. The Wyatt Family faced off against the Shield on the March 3rd, 2014 edition of Monday Night RAW. Both teams have put on some great matches with one another in their careers and this may have been the best one.
Even more impressive that it was on an episode of RAW.
Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns vs Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista
Event: WWE Extreme Rules (2014) | Rating: 4.5 stars
This was another really great Shield match. I thought that they worked great with Evolution and put on a fun match. Reigns would pick up the win for the Shield after spearing Batista.
Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose vs Rob Van Dam vs Kofi Kingston vs Dolph Ziggler vs Jack Swagger
Event: WWE Money In The Bank (2014) | Rating: 4.5 stars
After Seth split from the Shield, he would go on to win the Money in the Bank briefcase. This was a really fun ladder match with a lot of great moments. The Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins moments were a lot of fun and really pushed this match over the top.

Seth Rollins, Kane, Luke Harper, Mark Henry and Rusev vs Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan, John Cena, Ryback, and The Big Show
Event: WWE Survivor Series (2014) | Rating: 4.5 stars
Seth Rollins was a member of Team Authority at the 2014 edition of Survivor Series. This turned out to be a really fun multi-person match. The cherry on top was the debut of Sting, who appeared for the first time on WWE programming.
A fun match.
Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar (vs Seth Rollins)
Event: WWE Wrestlemania 31 (2015) | Rating: 4.5 stars
Even though Seth only appeared at the end of the match, this one still counts. Seth cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase in the main event of Wrestlemania.
Certainly one of the most memorable moments in WWE history.
Seth Rollins vs John Cena
Event: WWE Summerslam (2015) | Rating: 4.5 stars
Seth Rollins and John Cena faced off in a Title vs Title match at Summerslam in 2015. Cena came in as the United States Champion and Seth came in with the WWE Title. This was a fun match. The only knock about it was the finish. John Stewart used a chair to help Rollins win the match.
If they had a better finish, this probably would have been rated higher. Still a fun match.
Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns vs A.J. Styles, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton and Shane McMahon
Event: WWE Survivor Series (2016) | Rating: 4.5 stars
Survivor Series 2016 saw Seth represent Team RAW in their match against Team Smackdown. Just looking at the names involved, there was a ton of star power here and it ended up being a lot of fun.
The match went for over 50 minutes but entertained fans throughout. Great stuff.
Seth Rollins vs Samoa Joe vs Bray Wyatt vs Finn Balor vs Roman Reigns
Event: WWE Extreme Rules (2017) | Rating: 4.5 stars
The main event of Extreme Rules featured a fatal 5-way to determine the number one contender for the WWE Universal Championship. Samoa Joe would end up winning after locking the Coquina Clutch on Balor.
A pretty fun match.
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre
Event: WWE Hell in a Cell (2018) | Rating: 4.5 stars
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose faced off against Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler at Hell in a Cell. This was for the RAW Tag Team Championships. Both teams have been involved in a feud for the past few months.
This turned out to be a fun tag team match. It was also the highest-rated match of the Hell in a Cell PPV.
Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Baron Corbin.
Event: WWE Fastlane (2019) | Rating: 4.5 stars
The Shield reunited for a match at Fastlane in 2019. This was Roman Reigns’ first match back after his battle with leukemia. The Shield faced off against Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre.
The Shield ended up winning a wild match, where both teams fought all over the arena.
Seth Rollins vs AJ Styles
Event: WWE Money In The Bank (2019) | Rating: 4.5 Stars
Seth Rollins and AJ Styles faced off at Money in the Bank for the Universal Championship. This was a dream match for many fans and it lived up to all of the hype.
Rollins went on to win after a lengthy match. Afterward, they shook hands in the middle of the ring as a sign of respect.
Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor vs Kevin Owens vs Rey Mysterio
Event: WWE RAW (October 25th, 2021) | Rating: 4.5 Stars
The October 25th, 2021 episode of RAW featured a fatal 4-way, ladder match. It was Finn Balor vs Kevin Owens vs Rey Mysterio vs Seth Rollins.

One of Seth’s highest-rated matches came back in 2010 at Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor event. Rollins (as Tyler Black) put on a great 30 minute classic with Davey Richards for the ROH World Heavyweight Championship.

Event: Royal Rumble 2015 | Rating: 4.75 stars
The 2015 Royal Rumble is known for the negative reaction when Roman Reigns won the Rumble match. Sometimes the WWE Championship match gets overlooked because of that. Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar, and John Cena put on a really great triple threat match at the event. This was a lot of fun from bell-to-bell.
Meltzer really liked it, giving it 4.75 stars.

Seth Rollins faced off against Edge at Crown Jewel. This was a Hell in a Cell match.
