One of the biggest rumors going around after Wrestlemania has to do with a verbal altercation that involved Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon backstage. A report came from Pro Wrestling Sheet, which suggested Brock either tossed the Universal Title at Vince McMahon or at the wall following a verbal exchange.
According to a new report, Shane McMahon was also involved.
Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), provided some new details. Meltzer says that Brock threw the belt against the wall at Vince McMahon.
Shane McMahon reportedly got involved after this happened. Meltzer says that he doesn’t know if Shane wanted to fight Brock but he was acting as if he did. Nothing ended up happening though and Brock left after some words were exchanged.
To add to this, the @Wrestlevotes account (which was the first to mention this backstage incident) noted that Shane was in the area when Brock threw the belt.
I deleted the initial Brock / Vince tweet as I wasn’t happy with the wording. I did leave a tweet to address the situation hours ago however. Adding details, Shane McMahon was in the area as Brock threw the belt towards Vince. Unsure as of now how Shane reacted towards Lesnar.
