News broke after Wrestlemania 34 that Brock Lesnar was involved in a verbal altercation with Vince McMahon backstage. This came after Brock retained the WWE Universal Title in his match against Roman Reigns.
A new report says that there were two reasons why Vince McMahon was upset after the match.
So Why Was Vince Mad?
Wade Keller of PWTorch reports that Vince was upset at the excessive amount of blood during the match. The report says that the blood was not planned beforehand and Vince was “irate” about it. It presumably came from the stiff elbows from Brock during the match and was not a blade job.
Keller also says that Vince was unhappy with the bump that happened on the announce table during the match. This was reportedly not approved beforehand and the announce team was unprepared for it.
A report from earlier in the day on Monday suggested that there were two stories going around about Brock throwing the Universal Championship after the match. Some say that Brock tossed it at the wall, others say that he tossed the Title at Vince.
Regardless, Brock has re-signed with the company and will be facing Roman Reigns at the ‘Greatest Royal Rumble’ event in Saudi Arabia.
