D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels and Triple H) defeated The Brothers Of Destruction (Kane and the Undertaker) at the WWE Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. This was Shawn’s first match in almost 9 years.
Shawn was interviewed backstage after Crown Jewel. During the interview, he commented on his wrestling future after Crown Jewel.
Here is what he said:
“My goodness. Obviously this whole day has been anxious, nerves and everything else. Once I got in there, though, with everybody it was fun, it was comfortable. You know, I don’t know, I felt… did a few things, get a little warm, and you forget just how tough this is on your body. I’ll be feeling it for the next several days. It will be a very good reminder of why I didn’t do it for eight years and why I’m not going to do it again, if I can possibly help it. … We are going back to our regular life, boys. It was a lot of fun to do but I’m glad it’s over too”
